Herr Biewer holding a WHITE DOG WITH BLACK POINTS.

could this be the beginning of the Biewer creation, here with HIS traditional PURE BRED Yorkie

It would appear that the Parti Yorkie Gang in America have come up with some conclusions regarding the Streamglen Kennels in the UK, and claim that this kennel were the originator's of the colour White in both Herr Biewers' Yorkie, because he owned Ch Streamglen Richard & Flora, and the Nikkos Kennels owned and bred Streamglen Milady. As I have said many times the Streamglen kennels in Bolton, Lancs were Champion breeders and Mrs Mary Waldram was herself a top judge for the breed. Herr Biewer began his breeding programme arounf the 1970's and after some years it is said he produced his new coloured dogs and called them "Biewer Yorkshire Terrier a la Pom Pon" when the colour Black/White/Gold first showed up in his kennels in 1984. Then in 1996 the Nikkos Kennels in America miraculously happened to have this "Parti" colour show up one of their dogs (how convenient!).
Champion Streamglen Richard has sired many Yorkie with the correct colours (no white there then!) and here is a brief line of breeding which was done BEFORE he went to Germany by his owners Mr & Mrs Waldram, Bolton, Lancs:
Streamglen Richard was bred to Streamglen Sweet Charm and produced Streamglen Little Richard, he in turn was bred to Streamglen Marcella and produced Streamglen Jubilee Gay Boy. Streamglen Minivet Tempest was bred to Streamglen Gay Anita Sire and Dam to Streamglen Marcella. (ALL TRADITIONAL COLOURED YORKIE!)
Ch Blue Flash of Streamglen was bred to Streamglen Lindy and produced Streamglen Shaun, who in turn was bred to Charmalain Sweet Lolly Pop, and they were Sire and Dam to Charmalain Sweet Melody. Streamglen Blue Escort was Sire to Lolly Pop (ALL TRADITIONAL COLOURED YORKIE).
So please do not tell me that the Streamglen kennels were responsible for holding a mysterious piebald gene, for generations, which only showed up in the Friedheck kennels and the Nikko's kennels. This is one of the most rediculous statements I have ever read, and the Parti Yorkie clan in America have made a few, like "Nikkos Rolls Royce Ashley being the winner of Crufts" again more false info remember Deb my dear!
We have Streamglen dogs progeny in the United Kingdom, who have ALL either sired or whelped Yorkshire Terriers of the correct colours: Blue/Tan. So unless you have more credible research as to how the white got into a breed of dogs, who have NEVER before in history held a colour white, move on and move over.
I am certain that colour was bred into the dog! either by accident at the Biewer "Friedheck" kennels or purposely bred into them to achieve the wanted colour white, and the Nikkos kennels simply jumped on the Biewer band wagon, as it is a well known FACT his dogs sold for ALOT more money then a traditional coloured Yorkie, and today your "Parti" dogs are sold as "Rare". Another false statement to unscrupulously con, the public into believeing they have a fancy of a breed, that no one else has! So my advice to the "Parti" gang is this, now you have started to produce an almost ALL WHITE dog, which does NOT resemble Herr Biewers' Biewer Terrier (the official name for the breed, as agreed with Frau Biewer, and accepted by KUSA) is this: You are now buying Biewer from German breeders/American breeders and popping them into your AKC registered Parti Yorkie, WHY? This type of breeding makes your so called pedigree parti's (which although classed as a pedigree (Joke), do not meet breed standard and as such are NOT able to be shown as conformation correct colour classification). I will tell you why, because although for years you have been trying to attain the colours of Herr Biewers' dogs, you have been unable to exactly get his breed type correct, you have washed out white Yorkie (FACT). And now you breed Biewer to your Parti Yorkie to get the colours you require in your endeavours to authenticate your comments, that your Parti Yorkie are the same dogs as Herr Biewers' dogs.
Drrrrrrrrrr.
Had the Streamglen dogs been the kennel responsible for the colour white to show up in his dogs, we would of had those colours in the United Kingdom, WELL before Germany and America. Streamglen Richard has progeny to this day living in the UK, and they are NOT white dogs, they are traditional coloured Yorkie (FACT). The same goes for Flora and Milady siblings, all traditional coloured Yorkie. The Streamglen kennels dogs were sent all over the world, why have these so called piebald genes not shown up any where else, except in two kennels in 1984 and 1996, because the colour White was bred into the Yorkie, and the picture to the right proves Herr Biewer had a nice little white dog with black points to use in his breeding programme with is many Yorkie bitches, he had over 60 at one time, that is NOT just a breeder and shower of dogs, it is a kennel who having had a litter of 3 Yorkie, who lacked pigmentation, the breeder decided to continue that mutation colour to design a new colour and indeed breed of dog. That's how new breeds are made (FACT). That's where all the designer dog craze came into being, and please don't think the 21 century breeders were the first to create these new designer dogs, as this is how ALL dogs came into being, and it was only when Mr Cruft in England decided to create a pure bred dog register in the 1800's that thousands of mutts suddenly became pure bred dogs! (FACT)
Breed standards are required, as to safe guard the pure breeds, and when a colour shows up within a breed of dog that has NEVER before shown this colour (white, as in the Yorkie) it is NOT a recessive piebald gene...it is a mutation and in the case of the "Part" "Biewer" phenomenon, it was an introduction of other breeds, being used to create those new colours (FACT). History is the indicator of the true colours, conformation and standard within a breed of dogs, and the Yorkie since it's conception around the 1850's! yes that's right the 1850's!!! has NEVER been a White dog with a Black saddle on it's back (FACT).

Some chat on the Biewer:
Below is a statement as seen on internet sites, claiming to know the history of the Biewer Yorkshire a la Pom Pon:

**"Mr. and Mrs. Biewer’s Yorkshire Terriers, that produced the Black and White Yorkies, came from the Streamglen Kennels. There is some speculation, although not substantiated, that an accidental crossbreeding may have occured in this kennel that did not show up until some generations later through Mr. Biewer’s dogs. They had 4 Yorkies from the Streamglen kennels, 2 of which produced the Black and White colored dogs".**

Firstly wouldn't an accidental mating of made these dogs a cross bred dog then? So just what is wrong with the statement above**, firstly it lacks breed knowledge, it lacks foundation and it is merely used as a tool by some Biewer & Parti Yorkie Breeders to justify, putting a fine little traditional Yorkie back into a Biewer. Herr Biewer lived in Germany, he was the originator of the Biewer, he registered his dogs with the ACH.e.v (Allgemeiner Club der Hundefreunde Deutchland.e.v) because they were a new breed. (Please note the ACH-l.de - The International Biewer Yorkshire Terrier Club - IBC International Biewer Club, are not the ACH.e.v and were NOT the registry Herr Biewer registered his Biewer, this club is run solely by one person only, and is not recognised by the FCI or any reputable organisation) . Never in the United Kingdom have we an "ALMOST ALL WHITE DOG WITH A BLACK SADDLE ON IT'S BACK", claiming to be a pure bred Yorkshire Terrier. Herr Biewer was breeding prolifically during the 1970's & 1980's with every dog in his kennel. The pedigrees for these little creations are now held all over Germany with different registries, non of which are FCI affiliated,  all claiming to have the original article. If you look at some of the pedigrees you will see an 8 year old dog Fru Fru von Friedheck KFT13197 1980 whelping a Pup born in 1988 "Schneeflocke". Darling von Friedheck KFT13000 born 21/2/1980  at the ripe old age of 9 was sire to "Schneeprinz" born 27/8/1989," Schneezauber" born 10/2/89. Now that's some stud dog!
BELOW A LIST OF MISSING INFORMATION ON THE EARLY BIEWER HISTORY:
Lolita von Friedheck?? No registration no. and no Sire/Dam info: she was Dam to Renee von Friedheck KFT25791 1986: Renee was stud dog for many of the German breeding lines; including the kennels Von Agridesheim, Von Den Zwei Monden, Vom Rheinblick. (
Just who was Lolita?)
Simone Von Friedheck??
No registration no. and no Sire/Dam info: she was Dam to "Snowflower von Friedheck" ACH905660 1990 and "Schneewolke von Friedheck" 1985, No registration details??and again Darling von Friedheck as being Sire to Schneeflower aged 9 years!
(Just who were Simone, Snowflower & Schneewolke)
Princess-Koala von Friedheck??
No registration no. and no Sire/Dam info: she was Dam to Janny KFT20679 1984 and Grandmother to S/Monsieur ACH92089 1992 (BWG) Monsieur was stud dog for many German breeding lines; of White Magic,  Vom Klosterhof, Of Sweet Devil
"Schneexenia von Friedheck" , born 10/2/89, has no Pedigree Registration,  her Sire in the pedigree was Darling born 21/1/80, (9 years of age, wow that's good sperm)
Herr Biewer registered his pedigree Yorkshire Terriers with the KFT (Klub fur Terrier.e.v) in Germany affiliated with the FCI (The Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) informs all its members and contract partners that it holds no official relations with the Federación Canina Internacional and its members and that it does not recognise this Federación) but he registered his new little creations with the ACH.e.v (Allgemeiner Club der Hundefreunde Deutchland.e.v), the new "Biewer" an all White dog with a Black saddle colour.  Other dogs in his kennels were only registered with Herr Biewer himself and his new creations with the ACH.e.v (Allgemeiner Club der Hundefreunde Deutchland.e.v) being the first to recognise his new little dogs, but then it gets very confusing, even more then not just having missing information, these little wonders are now registered with every registry thinkable in Germany, non of whom are FCI affiliated, their real ancestry will never be known, their conception a mystery (much like their little cousins the Yorkie). There have been Female's introduced into Herr Biewers creations with no known ancestry that is able to be seen on the internet sites or other provided for information on the Biewer that hold any credibility to a researcher wishing to trace the true ancestry of these dogs, so we can presume only Herr Biewer had that information and he was not giving his secrets away.Frau Biewer is a member of the Biewer Terrier Club America, this alone should point to her approval of what that club are striving to achieve for these little once unrecognised dogs. The BTCA have proven they are a new breed with Mars testing and they have already been recognised as a new breed with the UCI (Union Cynologie International-ev.de)
http://www.uci-ev.de/. The future will be in the hands of the beholders of these beautiful little dogs, their past has been shrouded with mystery and deceipt. It is to be hoped they have a brighter future ahead of them, these little cousins of the pure bred Traditional Yorkshire Terrier.
The BTCSA (Biewer Terrier Club South Africa) have recently recieved recognition by KUSA (Kennel Union Southern Africa) who are FCI affiliated.
What great news for the Pure Bred Biewer Terrier!

A little note to people who assume to know the Biewer history, please at least get your dates correct of the birth of Herr Biewers' dogs: was Tschi Tschi born in 1976 or 1977?
Schneeflockchen KFT19362 1984 (in picture to the right with Frau Biewer) was born to Darling and Fru Fru ( Flockchen, was not classed as a White dog with a Black saddle, the word "tri", is not associated with that colour. Schneeflockchen was also to whelp a pup in 1992 "Schneelady" who was not registered with the KFT, but was registered with the ACH (Flockchen would of been 8 years old when she presumably whelped Schneelady)
Herr Biewer registered his new creations with the ACH, period it was not because the KFT would not accept them, it was because they were a new breed of dog.
